• Deburring and polishing of cast iron, carbon steel, hardened iron, etc.
• SC (silicon carbide) is suitable for workpieces made of relatively hard materials (such as cast iron, carbon steel, and hardened iron).
• AO (alumina oxide) is used for relatively soft workpieces. Mainly for deburring: fine grit sizes #240, #320, #600; mainly for polishing: LA rubigated alumina, equivalent to #1000 (for mirror finish). (#20, #40, #80, #400, #800 are available as custom orders.)
• Tools used: air drill, electric drill (three-speed), drill press.
